Job Description
Senior Content Writer creating bold editorial and product content for Paddle, a Merchant of Record for digital product companies. Translating complex payment and product ideas into engaging stories.
Responsibilities:
- Develop original, customer-centric editorial and product content across Paddle’s content ecosystem
- Find sharp angles and strong points of view for product stories, launches, campaigns, customer stories and other content
- Turn product strategy, customer problems and technical detail into clear narratives that build understanding and adoption
- Apply SEO principles while preserving originality, clarity and readability
- Use audience insight, search data and performance data to inform content decisions
- Adapt ideas across formats, audiences and channels
- Collaborate with Product, Product Marketing, Communications, Design and subject-matter experts
- Work with Design and cross-functional partners using Figma
- Help maintain Paddle’s tone of voice and raise editorial and writing standards
- Use AI tools thoughtfully while maintaining human judgment, accuracy and originality
Requirements:
- Strong body of published work across a variety of channels
- Experience as a writer, journalist, editor or content specialist
- Comfortable writing about technology, business or complex subjects
- Ability to find the human angle in complex subjects
- Ability to turn product strategy, customer interviews, research and expert input into engaging stories
- Experience with SEO fundamentals
- Understanding of content performance and how it informs content work
- Ability to manage multiple briefs and deadlines while maintaining quality
- Confidence using AI tools and design platforms such as Figma
- Portfolio including two pieces demonstrating range, from short-form to long-form
- Portfolio including a customer story, case study or interview-led piece
- Product launch or activation content example is nice-to-have
- Expected to be based in the UK
- Visa sponsorship requirement must be disclosed
