Job Description
Customer engineer providing hands-on and application support for Agilent's GC/LC/GCMS/LCMS products. Ensuring customer satisfaction through training and installation while traveling 75% of the time.
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on technical and application support to customers
- Work on-site at various labs to support customers with product solutions across GC/LC/GCMS/ LCMS
- Install and optimize hardware/software/network products
- Perform maintenance and repairs
- Diagnose and resolve product performance issues
- Address applications related issues and provide end-to-end solutions
- Ensure customer satisfaction by guiding and training users on preventive maintenance and configurations
- Demonstrate and train customers to use and optimize Agilent's software platforms
- Collaborate with sales to deliver bespoke consulting related to customer application needs
- Develop innovative application solutions across various market segments
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in chemistry, Food, Environment, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or similar background in life sciences
- Expertise in analytical techniques and method development (GC/ HPLC/UHPLC/ MS)
- Problem-solving skills
- Experience with the Agilent solutions is desired but not essential
- Strong desire to learn and expand your skill set
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and processes
- Ability to handle customer expectations and balance customer requirements with business needs.
