Job Description
Data Analyst strengthening HR technology and analytics at The Salvation Army for informed workforce planning. Focusing on data integrity and reporting capabilities to empower HR leaders.
Responsibilities:
- Strengthen HR technology, analytics, and data integrity
- Improve HR processes, ensuring accurate and reliable data
- Enable robust reporting and analytics capabilities
- Train and upskill team members in Workday Reporting
- Partner with stakeholders to define business needs
- Translate data into actionable insights
- Empower HR leaders to make informed, strategic decisions
Requirements:
- A university degree in computer science or an approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7–10 years of experience leading and supporting data analysis and migration initiatives for cloud-based/SaaS HR system implementations.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in HR Reporting and Analytics, with a strong emphasis on statistical analysis and programming using R and/or Python.
- Delivers advanced analytics and reporting solutions through strong expertise in Workday Reporting and Power BI.
- Builds team capability by designing and delivering effective training, knowledge transfer, and practical guidance.
- Navigates complex, multi-system and multi-entity environments while contributing to high-priority, high-visibility initiatives.
- Collaborates effectively within Agile delivery teams on large-scale projects from analysis through implementation.
- Utilizes advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with solid proficiency in Word and PowerPoint to support analysis and communication.
- Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, adaptability, and continuous learning capabilities in fast-paced, changing environments.
