Job Description
Marketing analytics consultant designing realistic measurement scenarios for 24-MAG’s remote expert platform. Evaluating attribution, channel performance, anomalies, reporting, and analytical judgment.
Responsibilities:
- Design realistic marketing analytics scenarios based on personally performed work
- Define analytical issues and expected decisions or outcomes
- Create scenarios involving incomplete, conflicting, or messy marketing data
- Develop and evaluate multi-channel performance analysis scenarios
- Analyze traffic, engagement, conversion, acquisition, and downstream performance
- Identify trends, performance drivers, potential issues, and anomalies
- Investigate unusual movements using multiple data sources
- Reconcile data across analytics platforms, CRM systems, and advertising reports
- Review attribution and incrementality analyses
- Translate measurement findings into practical marketing recommendations
- Develop and review dashboards, reports, and analytical summaries
- Work with Google Analytics 4, Amplitude, Salesforce, and advertising-platform reporting workflows
- Specify documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states for authentic simulated analytics scenarios
- Evaluate multi-step workflows across marketing systems
- Write or review reference solutions and evaluation criteria
- Review completed scenarios and assess diagnostic reasoning, prioritization, reconciliation, interpretation, and reporting
- Provide clear written reasoning supporting evaluation decisions
Requirements:
- Hands-on professional experience in marketing analytics
- Experience personally owning marketing measurement and analysis rather than solely managing teams responsible for the work
- Strong understanding of channel performance, anomaly detection, attribution, incrementality, and cross-source reconciliation
- Fluent with Google Analytics 4
- Experience with product analytics platforms such as Amplitude
- Comfortable working with a CRM such as Salesforce
- Strong familiarity with advertising platform reporting
- Ability to reconcile conflicting data and determine which signals are relevant to a business decision
- Strong analytical and quantitative judgement
- Clear written reasoning and ability to explain why an analytical conclusion is valid or misleading
- Prior experience developing AI training environments, reinforcement-learning environments, or simulated business case studies is strongly preferred
- Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification is strongly preferred
- Applicants must complete a short multiple-choice knowledge assessment specific to marketing analytics before review
- Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party
- H1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagement
