Job Description
Data Engineer designing scalable Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks data solutions for Tieto's technology consulting practice. Building ETL pipelines and supporting modern cloud data architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on the architecture and design of data solutions
- Develop and maintain scalable ETL processes
- Optimize data storage, processing, and analytics solutions
- Ensure best practices in CI/CD and infrastructure as code
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory for data integration, orchestration, and pipeline development
- Deep understanding of Snowflake, including data modeling, performance optimization, and query tuning
- Proficiency with Databricks, PySpark, or Spark SQL for data transformation and large-scale data processing
- Solid knowledge of data architecture, ETL/ELT design, and data pipeline automation
- Experience with cloud solutions, ideally within the Azure ecosystem
- Experience with infrastructure as code; Terraform knowledge is a strong advantage
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern data engineering best practices
- Ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Proven experience in data engineering roles focused on Azure and modern data stacks
