Job Description
Data Governance Lead at Billigence managing framework delivery for enterprise clients using Ataccama ONE. Partnering with stakeholders for oversight and compliance in data governance practices.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the design and delivery of modern Data Governance frameworks for enterprise clients
- Partner with senior stakeholders across business and IT to define governance strategy
- Embed ownership models and implement scalable processes that enable trusted data
- Establish governance forums, escalation pathways, and decision-making processes
- Deliver governance deliverables including policies, standards, controls, and governance KPIs
- Drive implementation of business glossary and metadata management processes
- Support identification and management of Critical Data Elements (CDEs)
- Work closely with Ataccama teams to embed governance workflows and approvals
- Partner with compliance, legal, and risk stakeholders for regulatory alignment
- Deliver training and enablement sessions for Data Owners and Data Stewards
- Track governance adoption and maturity progress across the organisation
Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering enterprise Data Governance programmes
- Strong knowledge of governance operating models, stewardship, metadata, and lineage
- Experience implementing governance tools (Ataccama, Collibra, Alation, Informatica etc.)
- Strong stakeholder management skills across senior business and IT teams
- Ability to drive adoption and embed governance into BAU operations
- Experience in regulated environments (financial services / insurance preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and delivery mindset
