Job Description
Data Management Analyst monitoring pipelines, validating warehouse data, and improving governance for Atrium Hospitality, a U.S. hotel management company. Supporting Snowflake, Python, orchestration, and AI-driven analytics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor reporting pipelines in Prefect, Task Scheduler, Snowflake, and WhereScape RED and catch failures before they reach dashboards
- Build and maintain alerts, scripts, and trackers for late jobs, failed runs, and data quality issues
- Validate data from source through transformation into the warehouse
- Triage pipeline, vendor, and reporting issues and provide recommendations for Snowflake, WhereScape, or Python
- Partner with data engineers and BI developers to fix defects and expand monitoring
- Maintain architecture and troubleshooting documentation
- Audit workflows against naming, documentation, and quality standards
- Maintain the pipeline catalog as a data governance steward
- Set up and maintain MCP servers and semantic-layer metadata supporting AI-driven analytics
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, data engineering support, QA, or data operations
- SQL troubleshooting skills, including reading queries, validating output, and diagnosing warehouse-level issues
- Comfort with Python for reading pipeline and alerting scripts and proposing edits
- Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Prefect, Airflow, or similar
- Data governance mindset covering documentation, data quality, access, and change management
- Clear communication and prioritization skills
- Snowflake experience strongly preferred
- Tableau, WhereScape, hospitality data, and MCP or AI-layer exposure are pluses
