Job Description
Data Science Program Manager overseeing multi-regional data science and engineering workflows across LATAM and other regions. Driving delivery and resolving cross-team blockers while managing stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate 3–4 concurrent workstreams (data science, MLOps, engineering, front-end/back-end) and track progress against tight delivery timelines.
- Align internal data science teams (Mexico, India, Spain, US) with partner S&T/engineering organizations.
- Identify cross-functional blockers and drive proactive resolution to maintain schedule.
- Represent the data science team in frequent S&T-led working sessions and executive updates.
- Serve as primary liaison between data science teams, engineering/S&T teams and internal leadership.
- Manage meeting cadence, follow-ups, execution tracking and action ownership.
- Translate technical progress and risks into clear, concise status updates for stakeholders.
- Ensure teams receive required data inputs, meet deliverables and coordinate dependencies.
- Establish and manage workstreams, coordination processes and cross-team communication flows.
- Drive accountability and orchestrate cross-team workflows without impeding execution velocity.
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of experience in Program Management or Delivery Management within Data / AI / Analytics environments.
- Proven experience managing multi-team, distributed data initiatives.
- Not Hands-On, but must understand Data Science workflows, Machine Learning lifecycle, MLOps concepts (CI/CD, deployment pipelines) & Data engineering pipelines, Azure DevOps (ADO) / Azure.
- Strong ability to follow technical conversations, ask intelligent questions and identify gaps and risks.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills across cross-regional teams.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Based in LATAM (Mexico, Colombia, Argentina or similar time zone) and able to operate within US/Mexico business hours (±2 hours).
