Job Description
Data Solutions Architect at A3 leading evaluation and implementation of scalable data solutions. Focusing on AWS environments and aligning technical solutions with business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the assessment, design and implementation of scalable, secure data solutions aligned with business needs.
- Conduct technical and business interviews with stakeholders to understand challenges, requirements and opportunities.
- Facilitate brainstorming sessions to align data solutions with strategic objectives.
- Assess existing environments (on-premises or cloud), identifying technical and governance gaps.
- Design and recommend data solutions on AWS (Data Lakes, Redshift, Glue, etc.).
- Deploy and configure data environments on AWS, ensuring performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
- Define data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and integration strategies.
- Act as a bridge between technical and business teams, translating requirements into viable solutions.
- Document architectures, technical decisions, and evolution roadmaps.
- Guide teams on data engineering best practices, governance, and compliance (GDPR, LGPD, etc.).
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data Architect in AWS environments.
- Strong command of AWS services for analytics and data processing (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, etc.).
- Skills in SQL, Python, Spark, and orchestration tools (Airflow, MWAA).
- Experience conducting technical assessments and developing improvement proposals.
- Ability to lead workshops, interviews, and presentations for clients.
- AWS certifications (Data Analytics, Solutions Architect) are a plus.
