Job Description
Database Developer optimizing Capgemini Engineering’s databases, reporting systems, and SAGE data warehouses. Applying AI/ML for anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, intelligent dashboards, and efficient data retrieval.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update databases, ensuring accurate data analysis and reporting
- Manage data extractions from SAGE Datawarehouse cubes, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and modifications
- Update server hardware, software, drivers, plug-ins, and maintenance services
- Maintain indexes, adapt to IT network changes, and protect systems against viruses
- Monitor hardware and software performance
- Organize data, secure backups, and modify server configurations
- Maintain internal reporting and install-base databases
- Update lookup tables, error classifications, and data cubes
- Create queries and reports from existing cubes
- Monitor and troubleshoot daily automated reporting jobs
- Collaborate with other resources on SAGE DW interface issues and modifications
- Perform preventative maintenance and resolve data clogs and report-generation issues
- Update stored procedures for Excel reports
- Apply AI/ML techniques for database optimization, anomaly detection, and predictive maintenance
- Leverage AI for automated error classification, predictive analytics, intelligent report generation, and recommendation systems
- Build and maintain smart dashboards with predictive insights and anomaly alerts
- Use AI-assisted tools to optimize report queries and data retrieval
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in database schema design, development, and management
- Database administration and performance optimization experience with SQL Server, indexing, query tuning, and backups
- Data warehousing and ETL management experience, including SAGE DW, cubes, data extraction, and ETL processes
- Reporting and SQL development experience, including complex queries, stored procedures, and automated reporting
- System monitoring and troubleshooting experience, including job monitoring, performance tracking, and issue resolution
- AI/ML and advanced analytics experience, including anomaly detection, predictive analytics, AI-driven optimization, and dashboards
