Job Description
Dental Lab Technician supporting clinicians with digital dental cases at Dandy, which modernizes dental practices through technology. Providing real-time design guidance, clinical support, and lab-team coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with doctors in real time to review and refine case designs
- Provide expert guidance on complex cases and build customer confidence in digital tools
- Provide live clinical support via phone, chat, and video
- Troubleshoot issues, clarify workflows, and deliver efficient, empathetic customer service
- Liaise between doctors and Dandy lab teams
- Translate clinical feedback into production outcomes
Requirements:
- 3+ years in a dental technician role
- 2+ years of experience in 3Shape CAD/CAM design, including implant and Crown & Bridge cases
- Deep understanding of digital dental workflows, including implant systems, scan bodies, and best design practices
- Technologically adept, with the ability to learn and navigate dental design platforms quickly
- Proven ability to build rapport with clinicians, offer empathetic support, and manage complex concerns professionally and carefully
- Previous experience in a customer-facing lab role is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable communicating live with doctors via chat, phone, or video calls
- Strong independent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple complex conversations simultaneously
- Desire to work in a fast-growing, rapidly changing fully digital lab environment
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality standards
- Native or near-native fluency in the local market language, with strong knowledge of local dental norms and terminology
