Job Description
Design Convergence Lead supporting Capgemini’s automotive engineering services. Converging vehicle interior and exterior requirements through tooling kickoff using CAD, tolerancing, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Support development and implementation of vehicle interior and exterior build requirements from concept phase through tooling kickoff
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with product design, engineering, quality, and external suppliers to define and converge gap and flush requirements
- Support application of customer audit requirements throughout the vehicle development process
- Analyze CAD data and tolerance stack-up results to validate compliance with perceived quality design rules
- Manage project deliverables and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Drive issue identification, tracking, and escalation when required
- Contribute to convergence of vehicle design requirements from concept through tooling kickoff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Experience in automotive engineering, manufacturing, or quality environments
- Understanding of statistics and root cause problem-solving methodologies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Exposure to CAD tools is preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
