Job Description

DevOps Engineer supporting developers with project delivery and infrastructure tasks for a fintech company. Assisting with cloud migrations and managing software releases across environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Support developers with project delivery and infrastructure-related needs
  • Perform IT infrastructure tasks, including Linux and Windows server administration
  • Assist in migrating systems to the cloud and maintain existing cloud assets
  • Manage software releases across multiple environments
  • Execute and support run activities related to infrastructure assets
  • Set up and review monitoring solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices in observability, incident response, and reliability engineering
  • Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Requirements:

  • Fluent English
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical experience
  • Proficiency in one of cloud services - Azure/ AWS/ GCP
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools such as Terraform
  • Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
  • Experience in implementing security best practices for infrastructure, secrets management, and automated scanning
  • Experience in monitoring and optimising cloud resource usage to control costs and ensure scalability (FinOps)
  • Experience in supporting high-availability and disaster recovery configurations for critical infrastructure
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar
  • Scripting and automation skills such as Bash, Python, or similar.
  • Nice to have: Experience in doing Cloud migration projects
  • Knowledge about DLT, and specifically in Hyperledger Besu or Canton
  • Web 3.0 experience
  • Solid networking knowledge (e.g., TCP/IP, firewalls, DNS)
  • Previous experience executing migration activities between cloud accounts.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in direct collaboration with a client
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
