Job Description
DevOps Engineer at Thrillworks responsible for GitLab to GitHub migration and ensuring infrastructure reliability. Leading automation and improving service quality in a client-facing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of repositories and CI/CD pipelines from GitLab to GitHub.
- Maintain high availability and uptime for critical systems.
- Audit current build and release processes to eliminate blockers.
Requirements:
- Deep hands-on experience with Azure (specifically AKS).
- Proven expertise in Terraform and IaC with a focus on proper state management and business continuity.
- Expert-level knowledge of GitHub features, integrations, and build agent management.
- Proficiency in Bash/shell scripting and at least one other language (Python/PowerShell).
- 5+ years of experience working on production infrastructure environments.
- Previous experience in a consulting or high-pressure client-facing environment.
- Experience with Linux system/network administration and monitoring tools like ELK, Cloudwatch, or Application Insight.
- A background in development (Next.js, React, or Mobile).
