Job Description

DevOps Engineer automating secure Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure for Endurion’s mission-critical systems. Building hardened deployments, secrets management, observability, and ArcGIS rollback capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines
  • Automate infrastructure management
  • Create and maintain environment-specific Kubernetes configuration packages with STIG-aligned hardening and RBAC enforcement
  • Implement secrets injection strategies using FedRAMP-compliant tools such as AWS Secrets Manager and Azure Key Vault
  • Integrate CI/CD pipelines for secure automated deployment and rollback of ArcGIS components
  • Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters
  • Automate cloud infrastructure
  • Implement secure, high-availability CI/CD pipelines
  • Work with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies
  • Use observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack
  • Support mission-critical objectives under the referenced work order

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or a minimum of five (5) years of professional DevOps engineering experience
  • Demonstrated experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters
  • Demonstrated experience automating cloud infrastructure
  • Demonstrated experience implementing secure, high-availability CI/CD pipelines
  • Demonstrated experience with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies, including Istio and Linkerd
  • Demonstrated experience using observability tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and AWS CodePipeline
  • Working knowledge of microservices architecture and service mesh technologies
  • Proficiency in AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud environments and security best practices
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and logging solutions
  • Ability to implement STIG-aligned hardening and RBAC enforcement
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance specified by the program
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) preferred, not required
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional preferred, not required
  • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert preferred, not required
