Job Description

Supervises and coaches digital reporters for Esquire’s legal support services business. Oversees onboarding, training, quality, performance, and reporter operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Digital Reporters within the assigned service area
  • Support the Area Manager, Digital Reporting, in delivering service excellence
  • Manage work product and quality against Esquire’s digital reporter scorecard
  • Coach Digital Reporters and provide ongoing performance feedback
  • Coordinate onboarding, equipment shipment, expectations, ways of working, onboarding plans, and 30-60-90-day reviews
  • Support Digital Reporters through The Court Reporting Academy and Esquire’s Apprenticeship Program
  • Deliver training on skills, policies, compliance, products, and services
  • Maintain NetSuite vendor profiles
  • Monitor and approve time cards and expenses
  • Build relationships with Digital Reporters and stakeholders, including local field offices and transcription teams
  • Communicate reporter availability to local field teams
  • Resolve quality concerns and conduct quality performance evaluations
  • Participate in performance reviews and partner with Human Resources on disciplinary action when needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year of experience working in the legal services industry preferred
  • Working knowledge of the MS Office Suite
  • Ability to learn Esquire’s technology platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and organizational skills
  • Superior client service mentality
  • Proactive, detail-oriented approach to planning work and meeting deadlines
  • Knowledge of adult training principles and methods
  • Knowledge of court procedures, legal documents, and legal terminology
  • Ability to multitask and shift priorities
  • Ability to resolve challenges and support process improvement
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to follow company standards and best practices for digital reporting and recording
