Job Description

Director of Commercial Finance guiding profitability, forecasting, and resource allocation for Interior Logic Group, a national provider of interior design and finish solutions. Partnering with sales and operations to drive growth and financial performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic financial advisor to the Regional President and operational leaders
  • Develop financial models and scenario analyses for decision-making and strategic initiatives
  • Evaluate capital investments and resource allocations to maximize return on investment
  • Institute pricing strategies and analyze customer, product, and service profitability
  • Lead annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans
  • Monitor financial KPIs and provide variance analysis and actionable insights
  • Partner with business leaders to drive revenue growth, optimize costs, and improve profitability
  • Integrate macro-economic and industry indicators into the forecasting process
  • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure financial discipline and alignment with corporate goals
  • Drive operational efficiency initiatives and help identify and mitigate financial risks
  • Partner with HR, operations, and sales teams to align financial goals with business objectives
  • Support M&A activities, business integrations, and financial due diligence when applicable
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to broader finance team members
  • Lead projects that advance the finance organization
  • Oversee month-end close activities with the centralized accounting team
  • Coordinate forecasting and budgeting with corporate FP&A
  • Improve DOH, DSO, and DPO to assist cash flow generation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 8–10+ years of experience in finance or combined finance/operations roles
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership position
  • Private equity experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling
  • Adept use of Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI
  • Experience in the relevant industry or sector is often preferred, but not always required
  • General knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Ability to build strong working relationships

  • Excellent managerial and leadership skills
