Job Description
Industrial technology executive owning Anova’s Industrial Gas and Chemical business. Driving P&L results, product strategy, enterprise sales alignment, and customer outcomes across global markets.
Responsibilities:
- Own P&L-level accountability for the Industrial Gas and Chemical business, including revenue growth, financial health, strategic direction, operational performance, and customer outcomes
- Serve as the voice of the customer and translate market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insight into product and business decisions
- Define go-to-market strategies and partner with the CRO on sales motions across Inside Sales, Customer Success, and Business Development
- Establish and monitor KPIs covering revenue growth, customer retention, product adoption, and operational throughput
- Partner with the CEO and executive team on strategic planning, capital allocation, and competitive positioning
- Own end-to-end product decisions, including roadmap prioritization, feature definition, launches, and lifecycle management
- Lead a Vertical Product Manager and partner with UI/UX and application engineering teams
- Establish customer- and data-driven product development processes and drive continuous product improvement
- Partner with the CTO on hardware and software platform roadmaps and with the CDAO on AI and data capabilities
- Align enterprise sales teams, participate in strategic sales pursuits, and provide product expertise and executive sponsorship
- Coordinate handoffs from sales through installation and ongoing customer success
- Maintain face-to-face customer interactions through site visits, executive briefings, and business reviews
- Represent Anova at trade shows, conferences, and market events
- Direct training, documentation, marketing communications, product messaging, and sales enablement
- Set demand priorities and customer-experience standards with operations leadership
- Hold Customer Support accountable for response speed, resolution quality, and customer satisfaction
- Evaluate operational processes and support capabilities and ensure readiness for product evolution and market growth
- Lead a Vertical Product Manager directly and indirectly oversee Customer Support and Training/Marketing Communications teams
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in business leadership, product management, or commercial roles within industrial gas, chemical, or related industrial markets
- Proven P&L ownership or equivalent market-level business accountability with measurable revenue and growth outcomes
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence in a matrixed organization
- Deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles and ability to partner with senior sales organizations
- Strong product management acumen and experience driving product roadmaps from concept through delivery
- Track record of building Voice of Customer processes and translating customer insight into business and product decisions
- Outstanding communication skills and executive presence
- Background in B2B SaaS/HaaS or technology-enabled service businesses
- Direct industrial gas, chemical, or process manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience overseeing or partnering with engineering and product development functions preferred
- Familiarity with multi-region field operations management preferred
- Ability to work in varied industrial and outdoor environments
- Valid driver's license and passport required
- Ability to independently manage a variable, demand-driven travel schedule
