Job Description
Director of Scientific Affairs managing cell & gene therapy strategies for Cencora. Supporting sales and business development with scientific evaluations and market trends analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Support sales and business development teams
- Maintain awareness of current state of cell & gene therapy
- Identify, track, and communicate cell & gene therapy market trends
- Lead and contribute to the establishment of training programs
- Attend key conferences and provide key takeaways
- Provide strategic and scientific guidance to commercial leaders
- Recommend changes to customer presentations and marketing materials
- Develop and maintain partnerships with decision-makers
Requirements:
- An advanced degree (MS, MD, PhD, or PharmD) is preferred
- 8 – 10+ years related experience in biopharma or strategic consulting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed communication and influencing skills
- Direct experience and working knowledge of a wide range of drug products
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Office Programs
