Job Description

Factory Automation District Sales Manager for Emerson, leading sales for Factory Automation customers in New England. Focusing on business development and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis
  • Actively engage channel partners and hold them accountable to sales targets
  • Maintain relationships with existing key customers
  • Prepare regular sales reports and provide accurate sales forecasts
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and conduct product presentations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industrial sales experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of related sales experience
  • Technical proficiency with the ability to understand technical issues and troubleshoot problems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal & negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Willingness to travel 25% - 35% with overnight and extended travel days
