Job Description
Factory Automation District Sales Manager for Emerson, leading sales for Factory Automation customers in New England. Focusing on business development and customer relationship management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis
- Actively engage channel partners and hold them accountable to sales targets
- Maintain relationships with existing key customers
- Prepare regular sales reports and provide accurate sales forecasts
- Stay up to date with industry trends and conduct product presentations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industrial sales experience
- A minimum of 2 years of related sales experience
- Technical proficiency with the ability to understand technical issues and troubleshoot problems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal & negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Willingness to travel 25% - 35% with overnight and extended travel days
