Job Description
Electrical Designer drafting construction documents for Meade, a firm engineering data centers and large-scale projects. Supporting AutoCAD standards, Revit/BIM coordination, revisions, and technical submittals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, draft, and publish electrical construction documents for data centers and high-profile commercial projects
- Perform drafting work under the direction of project managers and engineers, ensuring alignment with project requirements
- Ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and within established deadlines
- Create and maintain company-specific AutoCAD standards and technical details
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve design challenges and improve drafting processes
- Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards
- Support project documentation, including design revisions, as-built drawings, and technical submittals
- Assist in the integration of Revit models and BIM coordination when applicable
Requirements:
- Experience as an electrical designer/drafter
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Ability to work in a team environment with Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and multitask
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Revit experience is a plus
- Knowledge of engineering and construction principles preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
