Job Description

Electro engineer managing streetcar power supply systems, planning and supervising operations. Join a 30-member team and help shape the future of mobility in Berlin.

Responsibilities:

  • You define the planning and design specifications for the operation, maintenance and fault resolution of our systems
  • You review all relevant documentation
  • You also prepare work and service instructions for the subordinate overhead line maintenance unit
  • You are actively involved from contract award through invoice verification
  • Finally, you ensure the successful commissioning of all overhead line and cable installations

Requirements:

  • Completed degree / state-certified technician / master craftsman qualification in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent skills and knowledge based on long-term professional experience
  • German language skills at C1 level
  • Knowledge of overhead line construction types and railway power supply systems
  • Familiarity with technical regulations such as BOStrab, DIN/EN and VDE standards, VDV guidelines, DGUV, etc.
  • Team-oriented working style and an appreciative approach to motivate and engage employees and colleagues of the subordinate overhead line maintenance unit
  • Strong self-management, assertiveness and a results-oriented focus
