Job Description
Tech Lead driving architecture and technical direction for AI healthcare platform. Collaborating with engineering and product teams to tackle critical healthcare challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Drive system design, architecture, and technical direction for your team's projects
- Write production code and set the technical bar through hands-on contribution, not just review
- Mentor engineers through code review, pairing, and technical guidance — without formal management responsibility
- Partner with Product to translate roadmap priorities into sound technical plans
- Identify and resolve technical risk, tech debt, and cross-team dependencies before they become blockers
- Establish and evolve engineering best practices, standards, and tooling across the team
Requirements:
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, including experience leading technical direction on a team
- Deep hands-on experience with our core stack: Python, React, and TypeScript, including shipping production code
- A track record of making sound architecture and system design decisions in a fast-moving environment
- Experience mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar of a team through example and code review
- Strong collaborator who can align technical decisions with product and business goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical tradeoffs to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
