Job Description
Entertainment journalism intern writing weekly articles, commentary, and reviews for A Hot Set, which covers people of color across the global entertainment industry.
Responsibilities:
- Write weekly in-depth industry-related articles, commentary, and/or reviews
- Cover film, TV, creator, or business-related content relevant to A Hot Set’s target demographic
- Produce socially relevant, fact-based commentary
- Start ASAP
- Complete a 6-month internship
Requirements:
- Aptitude or interest in writing about the business side of the entertainment industry
- Aptitude or interest in reviewing films or TV series from various genres
- Critical and intellectual thinking skills
- Ability to write socially relevant, fact-based commentary
- Cover letter and resume stating experience
- Three published clips
- Location is not required; Metro Los Angeles and New York City residents are strongly encouraged to apply
