Job Description
Equipment Engineer responsible for maintenance and installation of chemical dosing systems at Solenis Indonesia. Collaborating with teams at customer sites to ensure safety and reliability in Palembang, South Sumatera.
Responsibilities:
- Perform repair, maintenance, and modification of dosing skids, including dosing pumps and control panels.
- Lead installation, commissioning, and start-up of equipment at customer sites.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues and breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure proper equipment functionality and support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, equipment status, and technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures during all field activities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or above in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in instrumentation for pulp and paper industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including pumps, valves, control panels, and instrumentation.
- Hands-on experience with maintenance, troubleshooting and skid unit installation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and technical documentation.
- Willing to be based in Palembang, South Sumatera
