Job Description
Equipment Specialist supporting MKS Atotech India's electroplating equipment customers. Providing breakdown response, preventive maintenance, upgrades, training, and service-engineer guidance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide equipment support to assigned customers
- Guide and develop Equipment Service Engineers
- Provide immediate on-site critical support during machine breakdowns to achieve targeted MTTR
- Plan and execute periodic preventive maintenance procedures
- Implement equipment retrofits and upgrades to achieve targeted MTBF and machine availability
- Work with product management teams, regional teams, and Tech Centers on auxiliary equipment strategy
- Train customer personnel on maintenance schedules and breakdown resolution
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and regional partners
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Conduct regular customer visits and meetings
- Report to the Service Manager – Equipment in Pune
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Strong electro-mechanical knowledge
- Experience with the latest equipment control processes
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in equipment support
- Experience supporting equipment in the electroplating/surface finishing industry is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel up to 50%
