Job Description
Education professionals evaluating AI assistants on realistic teaching and training tasks for Mercor. Writing prompts, testing responses, and rating deliverables to improve frontier AI models.
Responsibilities:
- Write short, realistic requests based on education and training work
- Work with AI assistants over several turns by steering them, answering questions, and challenging incorrect responses
- Rate the assistant experience and deliverables against professional standards
- Write concise notes about what went well or poorly
- Participate in projects training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- Teacher, professor, tutor, instructional designer, curriculum developer, or L&D professional
- 3+ years of professional experience in teaching, instructional design, or corporate training
- Uses AI assistants at least occasionally
- Clear written English
- Must be located in a country where the assistant is available
- Independent contractor engagement
- Unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates
