Job Description

Demolition estimator supporting a U.S. demolition company with quantity takeoffs, bids, and cost breakdowns. Coordinating vendors, subcontractors, and pre-construction activities remotely across Latin America.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for demolition projects
  • Prepare accurate estimates, bids, and cost breakdowns
  • Review plans, specifications, scopes, and project documents
  • Process RFIs, submittals, revisions, and bid updates
  • Conduct vendor and subcontractor outreach for pricing
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and support pre-construction activities
  • Track bids, costs, and estimating information using Excel and QuickBooks
  • Provide general operational and administrative support related to demolition bidding
  • Maintain accurate and organized estimating documentation

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on U.S. demolition estimating experience
  • Strong understanding of demolition scopes, quantities, labor, equipment, disposal, hauling, and other demolition-specific cost factors
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, specifications, and bid documents
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness and ability to work 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time
  • Direct demolition estimating experience preferred over general construction estimating experience
