Job Description
Façade Designer responsible for developing precise 2D and 3D technical drawings for façade projects. Collaborating with international clients and producing high-quality drawing packages.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed façade drawings including:
- Glass façades and element façades
- Post-and-beam façade systems
- Steel / hall construction components
- Create accurate 2D elevations, horizontal and vertical sections, and detail zoom/blur sections based on project requirements.
- Produce 3D façade visualizations or rotating 3D models using supported CAD software.
- Interpret architectural and structural plans to generate façade layouts with correct dimensions, tolerances, and fixing details.
- Ensure drawings follow required standards, layer conventions, and project-specific detailing guidelines.
- Prepare complete and organized drawing packages for client review and approval.
- Revise drawings based on feedback, updates, and design changes.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control for all design files.
- Meet project deadlines and deliver accurate outputs within expected timeframes.
- Collaborate with engineers or planners to ensure design feasibility and correct integration with other building systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CAD Designer, Draftsperson, or related role.
- Proven experience in façade planning/design, especially with:
- Glass façade projects
- Element façade systems
- Steel/hall construction
- Strong proficiency in at least one CAD software: HiCAD, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SolidWorks.
- Ability to produce high-quality 2D and 3D drawings with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of façade components, assembly methods, and architectural interfaces.
- Excellent attention to detail and technical accuracy.
- Strong written communication skills (client interactions will primarily be written).
- Portfolio or samples of façade-related work are required.
