Job Description

Internship in Graphic Design at Interkultura Verlag, focusing on media design and illustration tasks. Collaborate with a development team while working remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • You assist the development team in preparing graphics, illustrations and other media files for use.
  • You support us in designing logos, app templates, layouts and in image editing for books and e‑books.
  • You will learn to work with DreamStudio, Midjourney and Blue Willow.
  • You advise on layout development and bring initial experience in the graphic field.
  • Designing promotional materials and brochure content (ads, posters, flyers) is also part of your tasks.

Requirements:

  • You are currently enrolled in a university program or vocational training, preferably in Interaction Design, Media Design, Web Design or a related field.
  • You have initial experience with common software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Axure and MS Office.
  • You demonstrate strong typographic and design skills.
  • Practical experience in app design (Material Design, iOS design) is an advantage.
  • You are organized, communicative and a team player.
  • An independent, reliable working style and a high degree of initiative are important to us.
  • Good knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is required.
  • Willingness to pursue independent further training.
  • Strong organizational skills, especially time and self-management.
  • Ability to act independently and responsibly within set objectives.
