Job Description
Project Manager leading conveyor and racking system installations for PAC Group, an engineering consulting and program management firm. Managing schedules, budgets, risks, teams, clients, and safety across fully traveled projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project plans, including resource allocation and scheduling
- Ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget
- Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to oversee project budgets and manage change orders
- Identify project risks and implement solutions
- Act as the primary contact for high-level stakeholders, providing regular communication and reporting
- Lead project teams and foster a collaborative, safety-conscious environment
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and policies
- Apply project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 and PPM
- Build strong client relationships and ensure project outcomes positively reflect the PAC Group brand
- Manage project risks and issues, providing timely solutions and escalating as necessary
- Ensure team members receive necessary safety training before project commencement
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
- 3–5 years of project management experience in manufacturing industry installation projects
- Experience with racking and conveyance installs required
- 100% travel availability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Preferred certifications: CSCS Card, SMSTS, NA-OSHA 30, PPM/PRINCE2, PMP
- Six Sigma/Lean Six Sigma certification
- Dual or multi-language capability
- Proficiency in project and construction management methodologies
- Ability to interpret technical plans and specifications
- Strong client-facing skills and experience engaging senior-level representatives
- Demonstrated resilience and crisis management abilities
- Strong leadership and communication skills
