Job Description

Field Sales Coordinator supporting ChemTreat’s water-treatment sales and service teams. Coordinating customer administration, reporting, pricing, orders, training, and field-team activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with teams and customers via email, phone, and online meetings
  • Serve as the person responsible for customer satisfaction in ChemTreat’s administrative functions
  • Travel occasionally to supported territories for local team or customer-facing activities
  • Coordinate with the local ChemTreat team on sales and administrative tasks
  • Participate in team training, customer training, service functions, and sales campaigns
  • Develop relationships with administrative personnel at major customer sites
  • Coordinate activities under the direction of the responsible local representative
  • Act as ChemTreat customer liaison and problem solver
  • Work with ChemTreat corporate to anticipate software and systems changes
  • Communicate system changes and work with Area Managers to provide training and resources
  • Build relationships with field sales and service teams to support employee and customer satisfaction
  • Collect and present financial management data
  • Disseminate and correct salesman cost updates
  • Maintain information supporting price and contract management
  • Coordinate team meetings, customer entertainment, and travel arrangements
  • Use CT Vista, Microsoft Office, Power BI, tank monitoring software, and other tools to generate internal and external reports
  • Place and track orders
  • Review customer guides and update customer pricing
  • Review invoices for accuracy
  • Manage account-management administrative functions as directed by responsible representatives
  • Travel as needed, 10% or less

Requirements:

  • Some college education required; business school or college courses preferred
  • Minimum two years of experience performing similar responsibilities
  • At least five years of general business experience
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficiency in typing
  • Ability to construct customer reviews, sales presentations, and customer training in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to coordinate with Graphics and Documents to prepare proposals and media
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to balance multiple field team members and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of styles and techniques
  • Ability to travel 2–3 times a year for team meetings, customer meetings, sales campaigns, and relationship development
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds
