Job Description
Field Service Technician executing equipment installation and post-install support for JBT Marel's poultry division. Requires extensive travel and remote work, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Field Service Technician to perform customer site visits for new equipment installation and post-install servicing of the equipment
- Visits shall involve pre-installation
- installation
- startup of equipment
- training
- instructing the customer operators and maintenance teams on the function and safety of the equipment
- including all post-installation support
- technical support
- equipment servicing
- emergencies
- and planned maintenance/upgrades
- Assist and aid Engineering and Sales in connection with the company's line of equipment
- Work shall be documented and presented in connection with all installation
- service work
- and the calls received to assist in troubleshooting issues
Requirements:
- A working background with knowledge of PLC
- control circuit wiring
- electro-pneumatic systems
- PID controller
- and computer-based programs
- Troubleshooting skills and knowledge of mechanical motors
- hydraulics
- and pneumatics
- Must be a High School graduate with a minimum of two years in the required field as mentioned
- Two years of tech school or equivalent is preferred
