Job Description
Field Service Technician maintaining and repairing retail self-checkout systems for NCR Voyix, a unified commerce and payments technology company. Serving customers across an assigned Washington, D.C. territory.
Responsibilities:
- Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
- Service electromechanical equipment such as self-checkout systems within an assigned territory
- Perform maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls
- Communicate with customers as a first-line response and focus on finding the right solution
- Organize and triage customer issues and handle problems proactively
- Carry out field service work involving prolonged travel and driving several hours per day
- Work rotating, weekend, holiday, and flexible shifts within assigned teams
Requirements:
- Local candidate to specific geographic area
- Authorized to work in the US
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that satisfies NCR fleet requirements
- PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software (preferred)
- A+ Certification, CompTIA, N+ Certification (preferred)
- One or more years of related experience (preferred)
