Job Description

Financial Operations Specialist II resolving customer inquiries at Velera. Managing service tickets and processing payments while ensuring compliance with financial operations guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Responding to internal and external customer inquiries and researching and resolving balancing problems.
  • Assist with the training of department staff and providing update to the procedural documentation of the various functions.
  • Manage service tickets from clients and internal staff and review the daily workflow.
  • Complete daily exception item processing in adherence with established timeframes.
  • Review and process validated payments, reject and return payments that cannot be validated.
  • Work and resolve settlements tickets from internal and external clients via ticketing portal.
  • Reconcile balance consolidation daily transaction postings.
  • Process and balance daily Convenience check files ensuring transactions and returns are completed within established guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or equivalent business experience required.
  • Four (4) years accounting or banking related experience required; preferably in the area of Settlement or Finance.
