Job Description
Financial Risk Auditor evaluating Addi CF’s Internal Control System while ensuring compliance with financial risk regulations. Delivering actionable audit recommendations and validating regulatory reports.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the independent evaluation of Addi CF’s Internal Control System, applying a risk-based approach to assess key financial risk areas (credit, market, liquidity) and regulatory compliance with the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia.
- Complete 100% of assigned audits on time within the Annual Internal Audit Plan by independently evaluating key financial risk areas (market, credit, liquidity, and bank book interest rates), delivering actionable recommendations that management adopts.
- Validate the accuracy and integrity of regulatory reports submitted to the Financial Superintendency of Colombia (SFC).
- Follow up effectively on audit findings and action plans, ensuring business areas (Front, Middle, and Back Office) remediate findings within defined timeframes and strengthen the Internal Control System (ICS).
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in internal audit, external audit (with emphasis on financial services or banking clients), or financial risk management within banking, financial services, or fintech sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of internal audit principles, methodologies, and standards, plus the risk management framework established by the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia, specifically the SIAR (Comprehensive Risk Management System) and regulatory reporting requirements for regulated financial institutions.
- Knowledge of financial products and their management, including savings accounts, certificates of deposit (CDTs), investment portfolios, and loans.
- Proven experience auditing risk management systems (market, credit, liquidity, and bank book interest rates) at entities regulated by the Financial Superintendency of Colombia.
- Strong knowledge of regulations applicable to Colombian financial institutions, particularly those governing savings products, investment portfolios, and credit operations relevant to Addi CF.
- Strong teamwork orientation with experience applying data analysis and artificial intelligence to audit processes.
- Ability to communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
