Job Description
Forward Deployed Engineer building AI agents, integrations, and Knowledge Graph solutions for DevRev's unified AI work platform. Deploying customer workflows through APIs, webhooks, and real-time architectures.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the pre- and post-sales Customer Experience team
- Develop solutions over DevRev's core platform using TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, and other technologies
- Build the Knowledge Graph by integrating DevRev with SaaS and non-SaaS systems
- Develop and launch AI agents, integrations, and automations connecting customer technology stacks and workflows
- Integrate systems through APIs, webhooks, and real-time communication architectures
- Apply prompt engineering, fine-tune semantic search engines, and use generative AI techniques
- Write SQL queries, perform data analysis, and build dashboards
- Develop proofs-of-concept, conduct live technical demos, and iterate based on feedback
- Collaborate with customers, engineering, product, customer success, support, and revenue teams
- Guide customers through code repository integrations and advanced configurations
- Spend approximately 30% working directly with customers and 70–80% on hands-on technical implementation
Requirements:
- 5+ years in software development, systems integration, or platform engineering
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, data structures and algorithms
- Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, RAG, function calling, and building evals
- Deep experience with large-scale data synchronization, REST, GraphQL, webhooks, and event-driven/pub/sub architectures
- Hands-on experience deploying on serverless and edge platforms, including AWS Lambda and Google Cloud Functions
- Experience with modern DevOps practices including CI/CD, containers, and observability
- Skilled in data mapping, schema alignment, heterogeneous systems, data modeling, and graph data structures
- Experience implementing logging, error surfacing, and telemetry
- Familiarity with Model Context Programming (MCP)
- Strong track record triaging and unblocking technical and non-technical blockers
- Experience writing concise, well-structured documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel up to 80% for on-site implementations, technical workshops, and customer engagements
