Job Description

Fraud Analyst responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and investigating fraud at Kraken. Join a fully remote team of fraud experts in a mission-driven company focused on crypto.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze information from automated detection systems, tools, and reports
  • Conduct manual investigations and take necessary actions
  • Document actions and information found throughout the investigation to develop and maintain case files
  • Execute routine tasks such as service requests, transaction queries, etc.
  • Exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules
  • Work independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations
  • Work together with the team on various projects and initiatives including cross-department collaboration
  • Meet Service Level Agreements (SLA) & Quality Assurance (QA) standards
  • Enhance efficiency by streamlining processes and automating tasks when possible
  • Ensure compliance with Kraken’s Quality and Risk guidelines

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience at a payments processor, card acquirer, bank (risk department), exchange or relevant e-commerce platform
  • Strong advocate for cryptocurrency along with deep understanding and passion for innovation in the crypto space
  • Deep orientation in data privacy and security from both personal and business standpoints
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekend shifts, on a fully remote setup
