Job Description
Freelance graphic designer rating and editing design samples for HumanSignal, a human data partner building AI models. Evaluating visual quality and correcting flawed slides for AI training.
Responsibilities:
- Rate design samples for typography, visual hierarchy, design execution, color, layout, and overall polish
- Follow detailed rubrics to keep ratings consistent across high volumes of design samples
- Identify flaws in individual slides, from minor font-size issues to major issues requiring full reconstruction
- Edit flawed slides using other slides as references to create cohesion across the design
- Rate and edit provided samples rather than create original designs
Requirements:
- Education in design or arts (degree or certificate)
- 2+ years of experience as a graphic designer, illustrator, SMM specialist, or marketing professional
- English proficiency at B1 (Intermediate) level or higher
- Strong grasp of composition, color theory, typography, visual hierarchy, and overall design effectiveness
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks
- Portfolio required for application
- Stable internet connection and a laptop
- Identity confirmation and skills validation required
- Experience with Figma, Adobe Illustrator, or other modern design tools (nice to have)
- Prior data annotation or AI training experience (nice to have)
