Job Description
Senior Graphic Designer creating branded website and social visuals for Trusted Media Brands’ fan-driven entertainment portfolio. Mentoring designers and maintaining high visual standards across digital brands.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging graphics and visual concepts supporting editorial initiatives across websites and social platforms
- Maintain each brand’s visual identity
- Guide, mentor and provide thoughtful, actionable feedback to junior designers
- Review creative work for hierarchy, composition, typography, brand alignment and overall visual quality
- Edit, retouch and resize imagery to meet brand and production standards
- Ensure filenames, credits and other metadata are accurate and meet brand standards
- Balance creative quality with productivity while managing multiple assignments and deadlines
- Participate in team discussions, share ideas, ask questions and solve creative challenges
- Help maintain consistency across brands
- Help lead and develop a team of Graphic Designers
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent professional experience, with a focus on visual assets for digital platforms
- 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, including designing for web and social platforms
- Strong foundation in design principles, including typography, hierarchy, composition and visual storytelling
- Strong portfolio demonstrating thoughtful concepts, polished execution and ability to work across different visual styles and brands
- Experience mentoring, directing or providing substantive creative feedback to other designers
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and AfterEffects
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to clearly explain creative decisions and translate feedback into actionable direction
- Organized, detail-oriented and proactive approach to work
- Ability to balance quality with quantity and identify the strongest on-brand visual solution within available time
- Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize multiple assignments with varying deadlines
