Job Description
Group Air Agent arranging meeting and group travel reservations for ALTOUR, a global corporate travel management company. Handling customer inquiries, fares, ticketing, and PNRs.
Responsibilities:
- Handle reservations for meeting/group travel within the specifications outlined for each group movement
- Service inbound calls and/or emails from customers arranging travel to attend meeting/group events
- Create reservations consistent with callers’ needs and unique meeting/group travel requirements
- Seek the lowest applicable fare using the GDS or block space
- Follow company procedures, guidelines, and standards for customer service, building PNRs and profiles, ticketing, front room CRS productivity, attendance, accuracy of work, and invoicing
- Keep the immediate supervisor informed of significant matters
- Perform duties as required or requested
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years travel agency experience
- At least 3 years in group/meeting travel
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in the travel industry
- Proficiency in Sabre Diplomacy
- Courteous, professional telephone manner
- Superior problem-solving skills
- Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Teams, and Excel
- Ability to share best practices and ideas with peers and leaders
- Ability to support peers in decision making
- Knows when to escalate to a leader
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, verbally and in writing, as appropriate for the audience
- Strong conflict resolution skills
