Job Description
Leads a development team for wind energy projects with agile processes. Requires strong software and team management skills in a fully remote structure.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a development team within a remote setup
- Responsible for the development and enhancement of systems that ensure the technical availability of wind turbines
- Further development and implementation of modern agile development processes
- Project planning and management: roadmaps, prioritization, and resource management
- Foster an open, learning-oriented team culture with a focus on ownership and continuous improvement
- Ensure a unified and consistent data basis by integrating and harmonizing data from different system landscapes
- Provide technical consultancy for cross-departmental digitization projects
- Close collaboration with technical departments to successfully implement projects
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in a leadership role in software development
- Understanding of software architecture and scalable system design based on .NET / C#, Python
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
- Knowledge of current technologies (container technologies, test automation)
- Basic understanding of IT security, code quality, and software lifecycle management
- Ideally experience in critical infrastructure
- Ability to mediate and communicate effectively between technical and business stakeholders
- Excellent German and English skills, written and spoken
- Willingness to travel occasionally and a valid Class B driving license
