Job Description
Python Developer building ETL components and Java frontends for DATAGROUP Polska. Modernizing legacy systems and migrating Oracle workloads to PostgreSQL and cloud platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient JAVA-based frontend components
- Design and implement Python components for the ETL process
- Contribute to the migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application modernisation and cloud migration efforts
- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability throughout the development lifecycle
Requirements:
- Good knowledge and several years of practical experience in Python development
- Solid skills in Postgres and SQL
- ETL experience is desirable
- Strong analytical skills
- Solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently
- Experience in conceptual work
- Excellent understanding of data
- Independent and structured working style
- Very good command of English, both spoken and written
