Job Description
Desenvolvedor Java backend sênior na Evertec, empresa de tecnologia para o setor financeiro. Projetando microsserviços, APIs e soluções de IA generativa com foco em escala e segurança.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement robust, scalable software solutions using Java
- Develop, optimize and maintain robust, scalable RESTful APIs
- Design and implement microservices-based solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Address complex performance and security issues
- Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Collaborate with software architects to define standards and best practices
- Support and mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering a continuous learning environment
- Identify opportunities to apply AI in products, processes and internal journeys, driving efficiency and quality improvements
- Ensure best practices for security, observability, performance and scalability of the developed solutions
- Promote and disseminate development and software engineering standards
- Contribute to the evolution of engineering maturity, automation and the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence within the organization
Requirements:
- Solid experience with Java (Java 8+ / Java 11 or higher)
- Strong knowledge of the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring Cloud)
- Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar)
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis or similar)
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Experience with messaging and asynchronous communication (Kafka, RabbitMQ or equivalents)
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or similar
- Experience with monitoring, observability and troubleshooting in production environments
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing and test automation
- Knowledge of Clean Code, SOLID principles, Design Patterns and Clean Architecture
- Experience with code reviews and software engineering practices
- Hands-on experience with generative AI, LLMs and building agents
- Python or an equivalent language
- Practical experience using AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle
- Ability to leverage AI for requirements analysis and refinement, solution modeling, code generation and review, test creation and automation, technical documentation and impact/risk analysis
- Knowledge of integrating with generative AI APIs and services
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs, ensuring quality, safety and business alignment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Ability to lead discussions with business, product and technology stakeholders
- Negotiation and expectation management skills
- Ability to understand strategic objectives and translate them into technological solutions
- Ability to influence decisions without formal authority and serve as a technical reference
