Job Description
Head of Product owning Payoneer’s stablecoin issuance, redemption, and payment roadmap. Leading regulated banking product launches from pilot through general availability.
Responsibilities:
- Define and own the end-to-end product vision for PAYO-USD issuance, redemption, and payment flows
- Sequence the roadmap against regulatory milestones from pre-opening exam readiness through controlled pilot to general availability
- Unblock the engineering team through prioritization, clear acceptance criteria, and technical trade-off management
- Ensure on-time delivery without compromising compliance
- Partner with Compliance to embed KYC, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring into product flows
- Document user journeys for strict regulatory examination
- Design the controlled pilot, including transaction volume caps, staged merchant onboarding, and launch criteria
- Enforce feature-freeze discipline before user acceptance testing
- Own product requirements for core banking, custody, screening, and oracle infrastructure partners
- Drive integration decisions alongside Engineering
- Shape requirements supporting proof-of-reserve attestation and 1:1 backing verification
- Represent product decisions to the board, management committees, and OCC examiners
Requirements:
- 10+ years of product management experience
- 5+ years of experience in payments, banking, or digital assets
- Direct experience shipping products inside a regulated financial institution
- Experience under OCC, Federal Reserve, or state banking supervision
- Demonstrated success taking a complex product from concept to launch
- Experience navigating technical dependencies, pilot design, and staged rollouts
- Working knowledge of mint/burn flows, reserve backing, redemption rights, and on-chain/off-chain reconciliation
- Ability to build compliance requirements into core product architecture
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Ability to produce documentation reviewed by regulators and external auditors
- Ability to present to examiners
