Job Description
Head of Sales developing commercial strategy for luxury hospitality group in UK & Ireland. Leading trade partnerships and driving market growth with regular travel.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the UK & Ireland commercial strategy to achieve revenue, room-night, and market share targets.
- Drive market penetration and brand visibility within the luxury travel sector through targeted trade initiatives and partnerships.
- Build, manage, and grow high-performing relationships with tour operators, luxury agencies, consortia, specialist partners, and TMCs.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, co-operative marketing campaigns, and strategic promotional activities to deliver measurable ROI.
- Lead, coach, and develop the UK sales team, fostering high performance, accountability, and continuous professional growth.
- Plan and deliver trade engagement activities including roadshows, workshops, webinars, FAM trips, and attendance at key industry events.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Revenue, Marketing, Reservations, and Operations teams to ensure aligned commercial outcomes.
- Monitor partner and channel performance, identifying opportunities for growth and implementing corrective actions where required.
- Track KPIs, prepare performance reports, and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Strengthen partner satisfaction and loyalty through proactive engagement and consistent delivery of value.
- Adapt quickly to market changes, solving commercial challenges to protect and enhance business performance.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in Sales/Trade/Commercial roles within the hotel or luxury travel industry.
- Proven experience in managing the UK & Ireland markets, ideally within the luxury segment.
- Strong ability to manage and develop high-level commercial partnerships (luxury agencies, tour operators, consortia).
- Excellent negotiation and commercial skills.
- Solid understanding of revenue management principles.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into strategic recommendations.
- Excellent command of English (written & verbal).
- Availability for international travel.
