Job Description

Leading technology and AI initiatives at STS Capital Partners to enhance M&A execution and efficiency. Managing technology stack and driving automation in financial services.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a comprehensive review of the firm’s existing technology stack.
  • Map and analyze workflows across the M&A transaction process, identifying opportunities for automation and optimization.
  • Design and deploy AI-powered solutions to streamline data collection, financial analysis, due diligence, market research, document automation, and client communications.
  • Collaborate with leadership, deal teams, and IT to design pilots, proofs of concept, and enterprise-scale rollouts.
  • Establish metrics to measure technology adoption, AI impact, and ROI across deal execution.
  • Define and enforce data governance, privacy, and security protocols, including compliance with GDPR, POPIA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Safeguard sensitive client data by ensuring best-in-class cybersecurity practices and responsible AI use.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience applying AI, machine learning, or technology-driven process improvements in a business context (ideally within financial services, M&A, or professional services).
  • Strong understanding of mid-market M&A transaction processes and common technology stacks.
  • Hands-on exposure to AI and automation tools such as natural language processing (NLP), robotic process automation (RPA), machine learning platforms, and data analytics software.
  • Proven track record of assessing business needs, implementing technology solutions, and delivering measurable improvements.
