Job Description
Independent sales contractor selling PortaPro’s operations software to portable toilet companies. Managing consultative demos, Salesforce pipeline, and deals from prospecting through close.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and reach out to portable toilet companies and service operators through your own outreach and network
- Work inbound leads as they come in and run them like a true consultant, not a script
- Talk directly with owners and decision makers about how they currently run scheduling, routing, and operations
- Run simple, straightforward demos focused on how PortaPro makes their day-to-day easier
- Keep everything organized inside Salesforce so pipeline, notes, and follow-ups are always clear
- Manage deals from first conversation through close, including follow-ups and next steps
- Focus on real problems and how the product fixes them rather than feature dumping
- Share feedback from conversations to improve positioning and product direction
Requirements:
- Experience selling software
- Comfortable selling into contractors or blue-collar industries
- Able to run a consultative sale instead of reading off features
- Comfortable picking up the phone and starting conversations
- Organized enough to manage your own pipeline inside Salesforce
- Able to talk to business owners in a normal, direct way
- Comfortable working as a 1099 contractor
- Bonus if you’ve worked with field service, sanitation, construction, or logistics-related software
