Job Description
Operations Specialist in Hitachi's Industrial Cybersecurity team protecting OT/ICS environments. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to integrate cybersecurity awareness and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Track, monitor, and document cyber risks and issues across ICS environments, ensuring timely remediation
- Collaborate with control and asset owners to maintain accurate mitigation records in the central issue tracking system
- Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training tailored for OT personnel and plant operators
- Prepare dashboards and reports that communicate cybersecurity risk posture and performance to leadership
- Support project managers and cross‑functional teams in integrating cybersecurity controls into OT/ICS environments
- Assist the Cyber Defense Center in incident monitoring and response activities within industrial control systems
- Maintain alignment with IEC 62443 and other relevant cybersecurity frameworks to support compliance
- Continuously monitor emerging threats and technologies to help evolve and strengthen the cybersecurity program.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Experience in ICS/OT cybersecurity or industrial network security
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management capabilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and work under pressure in complex environments
- Critical thinking, strong problem‑solving skills, and a proactive, self‑driven mindset
- Willingness to travel to industrial sites when needed
