Job Description
Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Specialist supporting pharma compliance and investigations for Ambit Iberia. Managing alerts, policies, documentation, and stakeholder coordination in a remote Portugal-or-Spain role.
Responsibilities:
- Support the global operation and administration of Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management and related processes
- Improve Insider Risk Management policies, including indicators, thresholds, escalation paths, and operating procedures
- Monitor, triage, and document Insider Risk Management alerts and cases
- Support investigations, including evidence collection and analysis of technical logs and relevant data sources
- Maintain confidentiality safeguards and auditability of Insider Risk activities and case information
- Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, IT Security, and other stakeholders
- Prepare recurring metrics, reports, and status updates
- Support testing, validation, change management, and user readiness activities
- Maintain technical and operational documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement focused on process effectiveness, risk reduction, and operational quality
Requirements:
- Experience with Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management, Microsoft 365 compliance solutions, or comparable platforms
- Understanding of Insider Risk Management concepts, risk indicators, policy configuration, alert triage, case management, escalation workflows, and audit-ready documentation
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 workloads and signals, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, and endpoint activity
- Understanding of privacy-by-design, proportionality, responsible investigations, and confidentiality controls
- Experience with security and compliance processes involving sensitive or confidential information
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coordinate across global teams and manage multiple stakeholders in time-critical situations
- Discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive employee-related matters and confidential case information
- Proactive and self-directed working style
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience with eDiscovery processes is desirable
- Familiarity with Digital Forensics and technical investigations is desirable
- Experience in international and multicultural environments is desirable
- Knowledge of Microsoft security, compliance, and data protection solutions beyond Insider Risk Management is desirable
- Experience with change management, testing, and validation activities is desirable
- Experience in highly regulated or enterprise environments is desirable
